Games Fundamentals – Lectue 7: Introduction to Game AI
this was an interesting lecture today as i learned alot about the workings of an artificial intellegence. very remarkable!!
example of it shown was in a GTA game, where AI’s are used everywhere in the game
Games Fundamentals – Lecture 6 Physics Engine
in this lecture, i didnt learn as much, as the sample was based on gravity, around space. whereas my game was based on earth. also, it uses velocity to calculate the speed of the rocket, which i already knew
however i did play around with the sample. which was quite challenging.
Games Fundamentals – Lecture 5 Air Resistance and Mechanics of Cars
in this lecture, i learned about the air resistance/drag forces. even demonstrated the rotation of the car.
also played the game sample, learned much more from that,
Games Fundamentals – Lecture 3: Lets Bounce!
today, i learned about the physics of elastic collisions
i also had a play around with the game sample billiards. fun indeed!
Games Fundamentals – Lecture 3: Roll and Fall, Laws of Motion
i learned about the history of Sir Isaac Newton. i also have learned about the motions of objects in games
the game sample was quite simple, yet requires some complex coding to implement.
Games Fundamentals – Lecture 2: Maths
this lecture sure blow my mind, as all the mathamatical skills i had in secondary school became blank.
talked about trigonometry, collision detection and even thales theorem.
hard to understand, hopefully i dont have to use it as much in the future.
